CUSTOM CUSHIONS FOR CHAIRS, BENCHES, WINDOW SEATS AND INGLENOOKS FROM ANN WALLACE
We will make custom cushions for Arts and Crafts built-ins, inglenooks, chairs and benches.
In addition, we can make an appliqued or stenciled cover for your upholsterer to cover a framed Craftsmen bench or Morris chair. In this case the only cost is for fabric and for embroidering your applique choice. Please look at our custom-ordered colored linens and stock neutrals or order a fabric sample packet. You can provide your own fabric, although we need to approve it first to make sure it is embroidery friendly. Your upholsterer will tell you how much fabric you need, but be sure to allow enough to wrap under the wooden frame. Please, of course, contact us with questions or for an estimate.

At left,the Checkerberry cushion shows part of a custom template the you may provide for a special fit. At right, the Dragonfly cushion is a standard shape whose width and depth can be made to order for your bench. Please look at our applique and stencil designs for more ideas. These cushions for window seats and inglenooks are "loose cushions", a cover square or similar shape.
Our pricing includes a fabric covered cushion and a removable zipper cover. Fabric and applique are additional. Pricing is per foot of the front length for a cushion up to 24" deep. We will also do cushions over 24" deep and in custom shapes such as notched corners to custom fit inglenooks or curved seats for special chairs. Contact us for more information.
We also make covers for pieces to be upholstered. These box cushion are usually attached to a wooden frame by your upholsterer. The chair is at left is appliqued in Sue Ellen's Lily in antique gold, sage and mauve on a plum custom linen. The piano bench at right shows the Checkerberry again in terra cotta and loden. Here at right are the measurements we will need for a box cushion: 1) the depth or front to back measurements. 2) the width across the front which will determine the cost per foot (please round up to the nearest foot). 3) the height, two, three or four inches.
Dacron covered foam cushion up to 24" deep:
2" high at $45.00 per foot of length
3" high at $60.00 per foot of length
4" high at $75.00 per foot of length
